3 Weeks of School

Well I've been slacking off in this blog but I'm here again.

Anyway, we are into the 3rd week of school and already we are so busy with homeworks, quizzes, projects, and some people are already studying for upcoming tests!

Tomorrow will be the last day of the 3rd week of school. Middle School kids can wear a Dara'a and bring gergian to hand out to the class with them upon one condition: You must behave yourselves and not hand out your sweets until the last period, in which you will have the whole time to hand out your sweets to your classmates and teachers! We hope you enjoy the first Middle School activity/special day.

The Middle School 'Leadership' (formly known as Student Council) has already handed out surveys for you to fill in in order to get in Leadership. However, this year, there will be a few changes. There will be no President, Vice President, or whatsoever because this year we are going to all be at the same level. Others are just as important as you are, no reason for you to become better unless you saved the school from a fire or something.

So I'm leaving you all to finish your schoolwork if you haven't already. Remember, try your best and strive for success!

School Starts Soon!

As you all know, the first day of school will be on August 31st, 2008.
Some people are confused on whether or not the Ramadhan schedule and timing will start on the first day of school. I checked myself to make sure, and it is said that the Ramadhan timing will be used on the first day of school. The bell will ring at 9:00 am and you will be dismissed from school at 1:00 pm.

The summer went by in a quick blur, but I guess you still have time to recover from vacation during the Ramadhan Schedule which will consist of only 4 hours per school day. By the end of Ramadhan, I'm sure you all 'be back from vacation'.

Summer Break!

Welcome all AAG-ers! 

How are you all enjoying your summer breaks?

Some of you are chilling in the pool at Jumeira Beach Hotel in Dubai or shopping in Los Angeles, while others are in Kuwait enjoying the delicious foods of Lentore or playing Guitar Hero 24/7 at home. Well, whatever you are doing this very moment, I hope you are enjoying it!

There have recently been some rumors about school being canceled in September and we will be attending school during the following June to make up for it, and this is due to Ramadhan. Well, until these rumors are confirmed for AAG, they aren't true. Public schools confirmed this for them, and I have heard that so did ABS (although I'm not positive) but whatever schools have September off is their business. As for the staff and students at AAG, September is still going to be the first month of school. 

Anyway, I hope you all enjoy the next 2 months of your summer vacation as much as you can! Try to forget about chaotic issues, and keep your mind relaxed so you'll be happy to go to school. Until then, I wish you all peace and happiness!
